Many, many years ago I learned how to knit cables from a next door neighbor while living in Germany. However, I didn't speak German very well and she didn't speak English. Somehow, I learned to knit but they didn't do it for a long, long time. Lately I've been taking a few lessons here and there and decided I was ready for cables again.
This piece isn't blocked but I'm pretty happy with my first attempt at cables in 20+years. Next up a different type of cable then a whole sweater.
