Day 4-Our Catholic School
For the second year, two of my children are enrolled at our local Catholic elementary school. I cannot say enough good things about the children being there. Since we embarked on this journey just a year ago, I have seen my children grow and develop in so many ways. Andrew started second grade barely reading then after completing a year of school, he read the entire set of seven Harry Potter books over the summer. It's been terrific to watch the children learn rapidly, make friends and actively participate in so many different events throughout the school year. This past month, we had picture day, pumpkin carving contest, a trip to the pumpkin patch, Fun Night, book sale, a trip to the symphony, parent/teacher conferences as well as regular school days. It's been a wild and crazy ride so far but the kids are thriving. Yay for Catholic Schools.
